Drawn to the unique structures and remote desert setting, we traveled to the community of Arcosanti, AZ for our AW17 Lookbook Shoot.
Arcosanti was developed by architect Paolo Soleri in the early 1970's to be a living model of arcology, his idea that communities can be a combination of architecture and ecology. Every part of the structural design is well planned to interact with the environment, light, and seasons, and aside from it's practicality is stunning and unique. A community is still living there and working on expanding the original designs, and welcomes visitors for tours or a stay in one of their rooms. We chose the sky suite located on the top floor with wraparound windows and private deck that offer a view of the expansive desert that surrounds.
